Candlelight Yin Yoga Series

Balance, restore, and de-stress yourself each week. Yin Yoga is a deeply meditative practice that releases tension and negative patterns stored in the connective tissue and fascia of the body. Yin can help regulate the flow of energy through to improve organ function, flexibility and mobility of joints, and reduce stress and anxiety. Additionally we will use therapy balls to move deeper into the facia, to release deeply seated patterns.You will feel amazing after each class.  Props will be available to ensure that everyone is comfortable and can release deeply into themselves.   No experience necessary.

Just in time for the holidays! Balance, restore, and de-stress yourself each week. Yin Yoga is a deeply meditative practice that releases tension and negative patterns stored in the connective tissue and fascia of the body. Yin can help regulate the flow of energy through to improve organ function, flexibility and mobility of joints, and reduce stress and anxiety. You will feel amazing after each class.  Props will be available to ensure that everyone is comfortable and can release deeply into themselves.  Additionally, use of hands-on assists and essential oils will help you experience healing on a whole new level.  The classes will be divided into four weeks to awaken and revitalize two complimentary energetic channels each class.  No experience necessary.

Therapeutic Application of Pranayama for Healing with Kim Lewis

Pranayama (breathwork) is one of the most overlooked practices in group practice, yet it is a foundational practice in hatha yoga and deeply healing. This AyurYoga (Ayurvedic Yoga) workshop will explore the fundamental principles of pranayama, deepening our understanding of how the movement of breath affects both body and mind. A valuable tool for both students and teachers, attendees will leave with a working understanding of philosophy and practical application of the therapeutic actions of 10 classical pranayama, their indications as well as contraindications and cautions in the practice.  Additionally, a take home packet with detailed descriptions, will be given as a resource for home practice or public classes.  Kim is an AyurYoga Wellness Consultant and studies with the renowned Ayurvedic Physician and Yogi, Dr. Vasant Lad.
